This 10-hour hands-on workshop teaches students how to measure and interpret peak flow (PEFR) values in relation to personal best and predicted values, and understand the relevance of PEFR to respiratory assessment, particularly in relation to asthma.
Competence in this training course will enable the learner to:
✓ Understand the relevance of PEFR to respiratory assessment, particularly in relation to asthma
✓ Be able to measure and interpret PEFR values in relation to personal bests and predicted values
✓ Be aware of the significance of PEFR in the assessment of an acute asthmatic attack
We offer the training in 3 different formats to best suit your needs:
1. Face-to-face: Students physically attend and are trained by a facilitator face-to-face Students join online and receive live online training by a facilitator
2. Live online: Students join online and receive live online training by a facilitator
3. eLearning: Students can log in at any time and work through the course material at their own pace.
