Description
This 60-hour Unit Standard 252160 aligned training course is intended for Professional Nurses who require essential knowledge and skills required to carry out a comprehensive health assessment of an individual of any age and formulate appropriate differential diagnosis for common clinical problems in a primary care level.
Completion of this course will enable the learner to:
Function as a clinically focused, service orientated, independent registered professional nurse, who is able to render comprehensive care across all spheres of health, as determined by the appropriate legislative framework. The qualifying learner will apply evidence-based research to enhance nursing practice.
The training can be presented either face-to-face or using blended learning, a portion of which will be online theoretical knowledge together with face-to-face practical demonstration and mentored practice.
