This 60-hour course provides you with the knowledge and skills to be able to undertake the role of an Occupational Health Nurse. On completion of this program you’ll walk away with the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to successfully undertake your role.

Competence in this training course will enable the learner to:

Apply WHO policies and guidelines for healthy workplaces

Use ethical principles and moral reasoning for decision-making in practice

Identifies legislation and policy guidelines relevant to occupational health nursing

Promotes health communication and health literacy for behaviour change

Conducts health surveillance to identify and evaluate health needs of workers

Networks and communicates across all levels within an organisation

 

We offer the training in 3 different formats to best suit your needs:

1. Face-to-face: Students physically attend and are trained by a facilitator face-to-face Students join online and receive live online training by a facilitator

2. Live online: Students join online and receive live online training by a facilitator

3. eLearning: Students can log in at any time and work through the course material at their own pace.
