Description

This 1-day (10 hour) training course is intended as an update for people who are responsible for screening for workplace-induced hearing impairments in an occupational setting.

This training course will refresh the learner’s knowledge and skills in:

✓ Preparing for an audiometry test

✓ Conducting an audiometry test

✓ Interpret, evaluate, record and report the audiometric screening test result

 

We offer the training in 3 different formats to best suit your needs:

1. Face-to-face: Students physically attend and are trained by a facilitator face-to-face Students join online and receive live online training by a facilitator

2. Live online: Students join online and receive live online training by a facilitator

3. eLearning: Students can log in at any time and work through the course material at their own pace.

Entry requirements:

✓ Certificate of Competence in Occupational Audiometry

CPD Accreditation:

✓ On request prior to training

✓ 8 Clinical Level 1 CEU points

Please note: Students who are attending the face-to-face training do not need to purchase the course manual.
